CPHS_APIB SS - Dictators: Print Resources

Destiny @ Champlin Park High

If a resource looks like it has potential, write down the call # of the book. The boks that you will need for this project are NONFICTION and are located downstairs in the LMC. Check the numbers on the ends and front of each shelf. World War II is under 940.53 and 940.54.

Search broadly. For instance, we may not have a book on Nazi policies towards women, but this topic might be included in a book on "World War II." Check the Table of Contents at the front of the book and the Index at the back of the book to see if your particular topic is discussed in the book.

Fun with Indexes

How can you tell if the generic-looking WWII book you see has anything to do with the role of women in Nazi Germany??? You look in the index! Try women, League of German Girls (or Maidens!), BDM, Bund Duetscher Madel, gender, etc. You might have to spend a minute or more looking up different words!
