Find Information

(Big 6 is a process model of how people of all ages solve an information problem.)


Ask, "Where is each source?  Where is the information in each source?"

  • Access appropriate information systems, including online databases, online public access catalog, and electronic multimedia
  • Search for sources for information about your topic
  • Determine if each source is usable


Password Information

Click the "To Use Resources From Home" tab at the top of the page to find the passwords to use the databases from home.

Step 1: World Book Student

First, use the online encyclopedia to get an overview of your topic.

Step 2: Databases (eResources)

Think electronic copies of books, newspapers & magazines articles--that is what a database is!  Instead of looking at the printed copy, you are simpy looking at it in electronic format on your computer or phone.

Use thse databases to find information on the 1960's in order to dig deeper!
