____ Take notes from your sources on notecards. Write summaries of what you learn from your source. If you want to “quote” something, make sure you copy carefully. Each notecard should include the name of your source. - Due end of class 5/4
____ Write your thesis statement and fill out a graphic organizer that outlines the three sections of your essay. - Due end of class 5/5
____ Type your first draft. - Due end of class 5/8
____Read and revise your first draft. - Due end of class 5/8
____ Have a peer read your paper. Edit your paper. - Due end of class 5/11
____ Turn your final copy in to turnitin.com - Due beginning of class 5/12 – No essay work time this day!
